Dr. White is our full time Veterinarian.
A native of Black Mountain NC, she earned biology and environmental studies degrees from Montreat College. In 2014, she was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee. Go Vols! Her focus is exclusively companion animals, offering surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, and preventative medicine.
She is currently owned by "Indy" the speedy rat terrier mix, "Sawyer" the feisty rabbit, and Mojito the opinionated parakeet.
Outside of work, Dr. White enjoys spending time with her husband Ames, hiking in the national forest, training her animals, swing dancing, and horseback riding.
Terri is a native of Lansing MI, before moving to the mountains in 1993. Her experience of over 35 years starts from teenage years to attending Michigan State University, to just working in the field. Her knowledge and compassion has made her confident in helping beloved pets and educating their owners.
Outside of work she likes travel, visiting with friends and family, boating and yoga to name a few.
Terri has many past beloved pets (including a horse), and is looking for the right fit to come along.
Chanda is a native to Boyertown PA, before moving to the mountains in 1990.
Her experience and knowledge of over 23 years comes from her interest in helping companion animals, attending UNCA , and forming empathy and skills over time in the field.
Outside of work she likes crafting, volunteers at Sonrise kitchen, and is the secretary at her church.
Chanda has 2 cats, "Bob Cat" the golf cart adventure kitty and "Catness" the princess warrior.
Lacey is a native of the area (Candler, NC). Her experience started in 2019 as a vet assistant, attending AB Tech while working in a Veterinary hospital setting. Her receptionist role is important as she is the first person that pet parents see and talk to. She also helps Terri and Chanda with patients when needed .
Outside of work she likes to spend time with loved ones, go to festivals, and be outdoors.
Lacey has a dog, "Paisley" a goof ball, that she loves walking and cuddling.
